Salar de Uyuni is one of the World’s Largest Mirrors in Bolivia. It is the world’s largest salt flat at 10,582 square kilometers which located in the Daniel Campos Province in Potosí in southwest Bolivia and it is situated near the crest of the Andes at an elevation of 3,656 meters. Covered by few meters of salt crust where serves as a source of slat covering a pool of brine, Salar de Uyuni contains about 50 to 70% of world’s lithium reserves. It is a major transport route across the Bolivian Altiplano. In addition, it is a vital breeding ground for several species of pink flamingos.
