1. Burj Khalifa – United Arab Emirates

Burj Khalifa or Khalifa Tower is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the tallest man-made structure in the world with the total height of at 829.8 meters (2,722 feet) and a total of 211 floors. The building was started from January 2004 and totally completed in December 2009 with a cost of USD$ 1.5 billion and officially opened on 4 January 2010. The purpose of the building is for the heart of a large-scale development center as a mixed-use building including 30,000 homes, nine hotels, 3 hectares of parkland, the 12-hectare man-made Burj Khalifa Lake, the Dubai Mall and 19 residential towers.
